When I got back to Utah a few days ago, I was looking through this brown notebook I have. I guess you could call it a journal. It's more a hodgepodge (yes, I said "hodgepodge") of To-Do Lists, quotes, thoughts I've had in random places, grocery lists, reminders. You name it, it's in there.
I may have talked about the following before. My mom bought us all a notebook when I was in middle school and we were supposed to write five things we were grateful for everyday. One of the many things we can thank Oprah for highlighting! I don't remember really ever being good at actually doing it but in the last few years I've reinstated the action in my life.
My little brown notebook, made from 100% post consumer recycled paper, has become home of these weekly lists. These lists are the product of my highlights. 2008 has been a good year. Really, one of the bests. I had a friend who told me that 21 was a great age for her.
21 feels right. I like that.
