Food the Fancy Way

THE FANCY FOOD SHOW! That was the name of the game at the Javits Center the last three days. There were over 3,500 different vendors from all over the world displaying their INSANELY good foods. Can I list what I've eaten in the last 72 hours: chocolate, cookies, kimchee rice, pasta, waffles, lobster mac 'n cheese, gelato, sorbet, chocolate drink, ginger soda, bread, crackers, pretzels, pretzel chips, popcorn, bbq sauce, mints, and I can't think of everything else. Really, it's a little piece of heaven in New York City. The best part of the show was today when it was all over, everyone was trying to get rid of all their extra stuff. No one wanted to carry home boxes and bags and bottles so, it was shopping time for everyone. Oh man. It was great.

This is the outside of the Javits center. (This photo is from google...thank you, google.)

Here's the inside. On the left are the doors to where all the booths were. At least the ones on the bottom floor. There were 3 or 4 floors...

Here's the loot! What makes me laugh even now is that I took half a ham onto the train to bring home. Seriously though, I couldn't let it go bad!

If anyone could carry half a ham on the train and make it look like it's normal, it's you Annie.
