Jigsaws falling into place

Recently, my friends and I have spent endless hours in the family room with the fire going, doing puzzles.

Here is what I have learned from my puzzle adventures:

1)There is great satisfaction in placing a piece together that you have been looking for for 15 minutes.
2)Everyone likes puzzles. EVERYONE.
3)I like doing puzzles of world cities as opposed to cartoon ones.
4)I think I have become smarter.
5)I may be a little more detailed oriented than I previously thought.
6)I may be a little less detailed oriented than I previously thought.
7)It is no fun doing a puzzle with only one color.
8)Putting it back in the box is always a bittersweet experience.
9)Ping-Pong tables are really good puzzle tables.
and finally,
10)If puzzles was a class, we'd get a B+.

Puzzles make me pull my hair out, which leads me to rolling around on the floor, which leads me to making weird noises, which ends up annoying the crap out of everyone.

I hide pieces so I can do the last one. -that's actually not true, I don't know why I wrote it.

The point is, I don't know if I actually like doing puzzles, but I do like sitting around making everyone laugh with my ridiculousness.

I love doing puzzles too! I just don't have the patience to finish them... I get about half way through every time and decide that there's something better I could be doing with my time. Then the puzzle sits around for a few weeks until someone else finishes it for me! :)

There is absolutely nothing better you can be doing with your time - Anne is right, puzzling builds the brain!!!!

Anne - now do you wish you would have spent those Christmas vacation days putting puzzles together with your Mom?
